FORBIDDEN WORDS, DECEPTIVE WORDS, WORDS IN MEMORY POST-TRUTH DERIVED FROM POST-MEMORY - JOURNALISTIC REFLECTIONS ON TURKEY IN THE WORKS OF YILMAZ ÖZDIL AND ECE TEMELKURAN
In this paper, we present journalistic reflections on the publicistic narratives in Turkey in the context of post-truth and post-memory, based on the example of the works of Yılmaz Özdil and Ece Temelkuran. We focus on post-memory created around media messages and family stories. Journalists when commenting on events use the narrative of a witness, although it is obvious that they did not participate in the events described because they were not alive at that time. Post-memory mixed with post-truth creates a fake image which shapes public opinion. The question is how ethical it is to use post-memory narratives for political purposes
